About Us...
image

We are ...

a Schools' Football Association run by volunteer schoolteachers, which organises ALL schools football (SOCCER) competitions in the Bradford Metropolitan District of West Yorkshire, England.

Our members ...

By affiliation to our Association, schools are affiliated to the ESFA (English Schools' Football Association), who, in turn, are an affiliate member of the FA (Football Association) in the United Kingdom.

Our partners ...

We are also affiliated to the WYSFA (West Yorkshire Schools' Football Association) and the YFSFA (Yorkshire Federation of Schools' Football Associations) both of which organise regional Inter-Association competitions involving boys and girls.

How we started ...

We began our activities 120 seasons ago when a group of schoolteachers came together in 1891 to replace Rugby Football competitions between their schools with the Association Football alternative.

Too many schoolboys were aquiring serious injuries playing the Rugby game and thereby missing their half day at school and half day at WORK whereby they supplimented their families' income.

The Association Football Code was considered to be less dangerous! image
